Palelei has chosen Miracle - We Ain't Scared as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Soa Palelei enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Sergei Dronov and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palelei takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Palelei tries to work over Sie's front leg with a kick but Sie checks it.
Palelei keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sie tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Sie misses with a hook.
Sie fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Sie throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Sie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Palelei sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sie somewhat.
Sie on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Palelei keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sioux Sie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sie throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sie shoots in but Palelei avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Palelei lands a big head kick that sends Sie tumbling to the mat! Palelei takes a step backwards and waves Sie back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Sioux Sie has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Palelei throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Sie closes the distance and clinches up with Palelei, looking for a takedown. Sie pushes Palelei against the cage but Palelei circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Palelei displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sie.
A nice leg kick lands there from Palelei.
Palelei tries to bum rush Sie with a series of wild strikes but Sie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A jab lands there for Sie.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Palelei! Sie is out on his feet! Palelei rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Sie is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Sie is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
