Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Lansing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lester Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lansing comes to the cage accompanied by Heavy Metal Kings. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Lansing. That's going to slow Green down.
Lansing throws the kick towards the body but Green avoids it.
Green checks a low kick from Lansing.
Lansing darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A cross from Lansing lands.
Lansing tries a low kick but Green avoids it.
Green uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lansing.

Green throws a nice outside leg kick.

Lansing shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Green looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lansing is fending him off so far but Green persists. Nope, Lansing circles away and we're back to standing.
Lansing lands with a straight right. Green didn't see that one coming.
Alexander Lansing seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lansing throws out a loose jab but Green uses good head movement to avoid it.
Green takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Green closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Green lands in his opponent's guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lansing lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Green!

Lansing lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Lansing breaks from Green's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Green tries to hold on but Lansing pushes him away.
Lansing prevents Green from getting the reversal.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lansing lands a big shot there that rocks Green but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Green is still in real trouble! Can Lansing finish him?
Green has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Lansing looks to score with a jab to the body but Green is just out of range.
Green seems to have recovered his senses.
Green uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lansing.

Lansing tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Green is able to avoid easily.

A slapping leg kick lands for Lansing.
Lansing tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lansing tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Green manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Green gets caught flat footed, as Lansing shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Green is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Lansing postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Green looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Green has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lansing can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Alexander Lansing overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Green is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lansing pulls his head out easily.

Lansing thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Green has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Lansing. Oh but Green has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Lansing goes limp - he's gone! Green jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
