Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Akiro Sata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giacobbe Ruotolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sata comes to the cage accompanied by Onward to Victory!. Ruotolo has chosen I Ratti Della Sabina - Lo Scemo Del Villaggio as his entrance music. Giacobbe Ruotolo is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruotolo keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Ruotolo lands an overhand right.
Sata has a takedown stuffed.
Sata keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ruotolo ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

and Sata counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Sata thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Ruotolo is trying to control the position but Sata postures up.
Ruotolo wants to stand up but Sata is controlling him.

Ruotolo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sata. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Sata throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ruotolo's waist but Ruotolo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sata off to one side.

Ruotolo cracks Sata with a hook to the temple - Sata is on wobbly legs here! Ruotolo swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Sata falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Ruotolo wins by TKO!
