The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Erschov with a lazy takedown attempt
letting Wennberg counter with a right hand.
Erschov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Wennberg paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Wennberg looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Horrible takedown by Erschov or perhaps it was just good defense by Wennberg which made him look bad.
Erschov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Wennberg avoids it really well and circles away.

Erschov dives in and grabs Wennberg's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wennberg pushes down on Erschov's head and hops out.

Wennberg uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Erschov.
