Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ralph McGuire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tallak Hrolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGuire's entrance music is Daddy Never Was The Cadillac Kind . A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tallak Hrolf was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

McGuire goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
McGuire has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hrolf after a bit of a struggle.

Hrolf breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
McGuire swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
McGuire thows a body shot but no joy.
McGuire scores with a hook.
Hrolf stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from McGuire.

and Hrolf cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
McGuire misses with a hook. Hrolf ducked under it nicely.

McGuire throws a low kick but Hrolf moves out of range easily.
McGuire scores with the left hand. Hrolf knows he should have avoided that one.

McGuire rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hrolf moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

McGuire paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Hrolf closes this distance looking for a takedown but McGuire circles away.
Ralph McGuire has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tallak Hrolf .

McGuire finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Hrolf throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McGuire stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hrolf cracks McGuire with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Hrolf throws out a loose jab but McGuire uses good head movement to avoid it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
McGuire bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
McGuire fails in his attempt to clinch.
McGuire lands with a thumping leg kick.

McGuire is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

and Hrolf is countered with a crisp right hand from McGuire that sends him to the canvas! McGuire follows him to the mat into side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
McGuire wants to control but Hrolf is keeping him busy.

McGuire is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hrolf is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Hrolf seems to have recovered his senses.

Hrolf tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McGuire wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

McGuire misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
McGuire tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
McGuire lands some shots froms side control.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
McGuire wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hrolf , who protects the arm well.

McGuire is looking to take a break and control but Hrolf is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
McGuire wants to stand but Hrolf has his arm trapped.

McGuire tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no McGuire has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Hrolf takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hrolf tries to bench press McGuire off him but McGuire keeps the position.

Hrolf gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Hrolf is trying to control but can't.
Hrolf is trying to defend against the ground and pound but McGuire scores with a couple of nice shots.
Hrolf is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McGuire's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McGuire's back!
McGuire is trying to break free.
McGuire is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hrolf can do to turn this around?
McGuire is working hard here to advance position.
McGuire wants to control his opponent's hands but Hrolf gets his hands free.
McGuire tries to roll but Hrolf sticks to his back.

A looping hook to the body misses from McGuire. Hrolf does a little dance to reset his feet.

Ralph McGuire overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Hrolf scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh McGuire is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Hrolf can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
