PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lazarus Po (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takeru Masaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Po comes into the arena with Tribal Seeds- Vampire blaring out of the sound system. Masaru has chosen The Naked And Famous - Young Blood as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Lazarus Po has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Masaru pushes Po up against the cage in a clinch.

Masaru decides to pull guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Masaru's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Po looks like he's trying to stand up.
Masaru seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Masaru is working for a submission of some sort.

Masaru looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
