Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Meka Bertane Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ashley Hendricks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hendricks has chosen Nightrain as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bertane Jr fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hendricks closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bertane Jr quickly recovers to half guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Let's hope that Hendricks has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Bertane Jr tries to bum rush Hendricks with a series of wild strikes but Hendricks uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Bertane Jr throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hendricks's waist but Hendricks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bertane Jr off to one side.
Bertane Jr takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Bertane Jr shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Hendricks eats them both and turns towards Bertane Jr to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Hendricks bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
