The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munchkin lands a nice leg kick that just misses Pei's sensitive parts.
Pei swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Munchkin tries to clinch but Pei moves out of range.
A jab from Pei does it's job there.
Munchkin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Pei throws a jab when Munchkin was well out of range.
Munchkin shoots in for a takedown but Pei shows good takedown defense.
Nice defenses there by Munchkin.
Munchkin takes a swing at Pei's ribcage but misses.
Munchkin with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Pei to score with a decent uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pei throws a hook but Munchkin avoids it easily.
Pei lands with a nice body punch.
Pei takes a swing at Munchkin's ribcage but misses.
Munchkin misses with an uppercut. Pei saw that one coming.

Munchkin dives in and grabs Pei's left leg, looking for a takedown. Pei pushes down on Munchkin's head and hops out.

Pei lands a nice shot to the body.
Pei cracks Munchkin with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Munchkin looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Pei finish him?
Munchkin is rocked!
It looks like Vladislav Munchkin has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Pei throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Pei swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pei looks to score with a jab to the body but Munchkin is just out of range.
Munchkin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pei scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Munchkin doesn't seem bothered though.
Munchkin is breathing heavily.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Pei.
Pei throws a pinpoint strike between Munchkin's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Munchkin crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Pei scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Wei Pei! Wei Pei retains his heavyweight title!
After winning the bout, Wei Pei thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
