Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Renee Mondeux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Haws (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mondeux's entrance music is Ronnie McCoury-Cajun Man. A fine choice. Haws has chosen To be the Best as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mondeux is defended easily by Haws.
Mondeux ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Haws moves away.
Mondeux shoots in but Haws avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Mondeux tries to score a power double leg takedown but Haws sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mondeux somewhat.

That was a close round but I would say that Renee Mondeux will probably get the nod.

Mondeux has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Haws is trying to keep an underhook but Mondeux manages to get the takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
