PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hussak Claw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nom Nomm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nomm has chosen Nyan Cat as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Claw manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Nomm on his heels. He'll look to pass Nomm's guard now, I'm sure.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Nomm working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Claw.
Nomm utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Claw throws a big elbow that misses.

Claw has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Nomm gets to his feet - Claw follows without any prompting.

so Claw counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Nomm wants to stand and escape but Claw is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Claw drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Nomm manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Claw has Nomm in his guard.
Nomm wants to get up but he can't break Claw's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Claw wants to sweep here but Nomm controlling him for the moment.

It looks like Hussak Claw has been cut.
Nomm throws a series of punches but Claw avoids them all with ease.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Claw is defended easily by Nomm.
Hussak Claw is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Nomm looks to land a combination. Claw sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Nomm smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Nom Nomm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nomm cracks Claw with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Nomm shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Claw eats them both and turns towards Nomm to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Nomm throws a hook but Claw avoids it easily.
Claw shoots in for a takedown but Nomm shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Claw throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nomm's waist but Nomm gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Claw off to one side.

That's time! Claw's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Claw is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Nomm rolls with it to try and escape but Claw cranks on the arm and Nomm is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
