Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Hwoarang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danders Persblad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Persblad slips a jab and a cross from Hwoarang.
Hwoarang shoots in looking for a takedown. Persblad tries to sprawl out of it but Hwoarang keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Persblad manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Hwoarang stuffs the takedown attempt from Persblad. Persblad gets slowly back to his feet.
Persblad tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Persblad fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hwoarang avoids it really well and circles away.
Persblad swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Hwoarang closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hwoarang lands in his opponent's guard.
Hwoarang wants to pass the guard but Persblad is keeping the position.

Persblad looking for a sweep. Not yet Persblad, not yet.
Hwoarang throws a big right hand that misses.
Persblad is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Persblad had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hwoarang defends it easily.
Persblad is trying to keep Hwoarang in close.

Persblad pulls Hwoarang in close to prevent any damage.
Hwoarang postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hwoarang throws an elbow that misses. Persblad uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hwoarang's guard. Nice move by Persblad!
Persblad slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Hwoarang is working an open guard so Persblad takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Hwoarang clinches up against the cage.

Persblad tightens his grip and picks Hwoarang up, before dumping him to the ground. Hwoarang manages to land in guard.

Hwoarang is striking from the bottom but Persblad uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Hwoarang is pressing down on Persblad's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Persblad engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Hwoarang trying to control the position.
Persblad trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Persblad is stalling in the full guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Persblad's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Danders Persblad wasn't active enough on the ground.
Hwoarang wants to clinch up but Persblad keeps it at a distance.
Hwoarang tries to close the distance and clinch but Persblad swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hwoarang is looking to land body kicks.
Hwoarang scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Persblad throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hwoarang tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Persblad is in Hwoarang's guard.
Hwoarang is breathing heavily.
Persblad looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Persblad wants to stand but Hwoarang has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Danders Persblad dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Persblad blocks a head kick by Hwoarang.
Persblad throws a sloppy head kick and Hwoarang moves out of range easily.

Persblad is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hwoarang's half guard.
Persblad is controlling the pace.
Hwoarang is pressing down on Persblad's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Hwoarang wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Persblad is now in half guard.

Hwoarang throws a strike from the bottom but Persblad passes into side control!
Persblad happy to just control the position for now.
Persblad creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Hwoarang takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Hwoarang looking for a sweep but Persblad has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Persblad lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Persblad cracks Hwoarang with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Hwoarang in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Persblad sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Persblad has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Persblad scoring with strikes but Hwoarang is staying in there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Persblad loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Hwoarang scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Persblad land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Persblad stands and salutes the crowd.
