The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cherry gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
letting Grecko counter with a right hand.
Cherry with a poor takedown
and Grecko counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Cherry thinking.
Cherry with a lazy takedown attempt
and Grecko counters with a good low kick that Cherry was not able to check.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Cherry. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cherry has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Grecko finds it's way round the side to connect with Cherry's head.
Grecko lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Cherry goes down and covers up as Grecko starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
