The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kappa takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kappa shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Calaway but Calaway pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Kappa counters with a nice right hand that sends Calaway toppling to the canvas! Calaway scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Kappa finish him?!

It looks like Urijah Calaway has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kappa swats away the attempt to clinch by Calaway.
Kappa blocks a low kick nicely.
Calaway gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Calaway drives through and clinches with Kappa against the cage.
Kappa dips a shoulder and cracks Calaway with a mighty uppercut! Calaway falls back against the cage and Kappa unloads with a barrage of strikes! Calaway is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Kappa screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
