Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zachary Cardenas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brayden Steffensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Steffensen has chosen BREAK THE WALLS as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Brayden Steffensen will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zachary Cardenas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brayden Steffensen!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cardenas drives through and clinches with Steffensen against the cage.
Steffensen is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Cardenas is defending well.
Cardenas working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Cardenas scores with a nice hook to the head.
Steffensen jumps guard but Cardenas stands there with Steffensen around his waist. Steffensen gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Cardenas creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Steffensen tries to land a knee to the head but Cardenas blocks with his arms.
Steffensen tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Cardenas smiles and moves away.
Zachary Cardenas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brayden Steffensen.

Cardenas moves into range and clinches up with Steffensen.
Cardenas lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Cardenas gets through Steffensen's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Steffensen is rocked!
Steffensen fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Steffensen is still on wobbly legs! Can Cardenas finish him?
Cardenas unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Steffensen! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Cardenas is unloading with more strikes now! Steffensen drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zachary Cardenas!
A relieved looking Zachary Cardenas thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
