Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kim Young Il (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Corey Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Il's entrance music is RATM - Renegades of Funk. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corey Jr keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Mike Corey Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Il connects with a right hand. Corey Jr shakes it off.
Il is looking to slow Corey Jr down with leg kicks.

Il does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Corey Jr has his foot on Il's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Il works his way back into a safe position though.
Corey Jr controls Il momentarily but Il frees himself.

That was a close round but I would say that Kim Young Il will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Some bone on bone action there as Il checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Il tries to land a front kick but Corey Jr steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Corey Jr wants to stay close but Il steps back to make room for something. Corey Jr seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Il and Corey Jr drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!
