Del Rio comes to the cage accompanied by Requiem for a dream. Arizona Reed has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Alberto Del Rio's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Rio tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Reed throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Del Rio.

Reed wants to lay and pray for a moment but Del Rio keeps working.

Reed stands up and beckons Del Rio to his feet.

Del Rio avoids the head kick by Reed.

Del Rio has taken the fight to the clinch.

Reed is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Del Rio is defending well.

Reed wants to get back to striking at distance but Del Rio won't allow it.

Del Rio has hold of one of Reed's legs. Reed is fighting the takedown attempt but Del Rio gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Del Rio is fighting to break Reed's control of his arms but Reed is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Del Rio wants to stand but Reed has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Del Rio distracts Reed with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

A close round but Arizona Reed will probably get the nod.

Reed lunges at Del Rio with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Del Rio's hand.

Del Rio clinches.

Del Rio's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Reed lands a big head kick that sends Del Rio to the canvas! Reed follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

A less than humble Arizona Reed misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
