The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tavares throws a sloppy head kick
and Touret counters with a low kick, right behind Tavares 's knee.
Touret cracks the inside of Tavares's front leg.
Tavares cracks the inside of Touret's front leg.
Touret throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Touret tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Tavares is able to avoid easily.
Touret plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Touret thows a leg kick but Tavares checks it
and Tavares counters with a slapping leg kick.
Tavares throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Touret misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Touret swings widly with a right hand
and Tavares counters with a nice body kick.
Touret is breathing heavily.
Touret takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Tavares drops Touret with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Touret looks back up at him and smiles so Tavares waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Touret is rocked!

It looks like Julien Touret has been cut.
Tavares throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Touret crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
