A fine choice. Craig Thomson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Noel throws a nice outside leg kick.

Noel throws a looping overhand right but Thomson ducks down to avoid it.

Noel tries to bum rush Thomson with a series of wild strikes but Thomson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters circling - Noel throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Thomson connects with a leg kick. Noel looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
That kick from Thomson tenderised Noel's leg. Noel is trying to keep his angry face on.

Thomson cracks Noel with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Noel is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Noel is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Noel walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
