Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Krzysztof Szczepaniak!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hound scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Hound is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Szczepaniak trying to control from the bottom.
Hound could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Hound is trying to work for a kimura but Szczepaniak is defending well.

Hound seems to be looking for submissions.

Hound is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Szczepaniak trying to control but Hound postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Szczepaniak keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Hound is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hound is breathing heavily.

Hound is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Szczepaniak is pressing down on Hound's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Hound has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Hound has gone for a leg lock! Szczepaniak slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hound's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Szczepaniak is pushing down on Hound's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hound is fighting to maintain full guard but Szczepaniak has managed to sneak the leg through.
Szczepaniak is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Hound!
Szczepaniak trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Szczepaniak takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Szczepaniak can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hound is looking to escape.

Szczepaniak controlling the position easily from mount.
Hound gives up his back whilst trying to strike.
Szczepaniak just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

Szczepaniak has managed to slip his arm under Hound's chin. This could be all over... yep, Hound is tapping out! Submission win for Szczepaniak.
