Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pele Fusuaga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Ashton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ashton has chosen Lynyrd Skynyrd - Simple Man as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fusuaga lands a right hook to the body.
Fusuaga swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ashton misses with a double jab.
Fusuaga scores with a jab to the head.
Ashton shoots in looking for a takedown. Fusuaga tries to sprawl out of it but Ashton keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Fusuaga manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Fusuaga lands a nice shot to the body.
Ashton fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ashton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fusuaga pinned against the cage. Fusuaga gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pele Fusuaga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rick Ashton.
Fusuaga rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ashton moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ashton ducks right into an uppercut from Fusuaga.
Ashton throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ashton takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ashton closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fusuaga circles away.
Fusuaga lands with a cross.

Ashton is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fusuaga sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Fusuaga lands a jab to Ashton's midsection.
Ashton throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Fusuaga avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ashton takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Ashton shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fusuaga pinned against the cage. Fusuaga gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Ashton throws a hook but Fusuaga blocks it.
Ashton shoots in for a takedown but Fusuaga shows good takedown defense.
Fusuaga digs a good hook to Ashton's body.
Fusuaga moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Fusuaga paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ashton is rocked!
Fusuaga throws an overhand right that drops Ashton like a sack of potatoes! Fusuaga dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pele Fusuaga!
A relieved looking Pele Fusuaga thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
