Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Laph Roaig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Meldrick Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roaig comes to the cage accompanied by The Doors - Alabama song. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Roaig.
Tyson walks into a stiff left hand from Roaig.
Roaig scores with a jab.
Roaig misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tyson.
Roaig bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Tyson's head backwards.
Tyson is rocked!
Tyson lands a head kick!
It looks like Laph Roaig has been cut.

Roaig lands a really nice looking cross but Tyson seems unphased.

Tyson wants to land a leg kick but Roaig is out of range.
Roaig clobbers Tyson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Roaig misses with a low kick.
Tyson throws a chopping leg kick but Roaig manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Roaig is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Tyson attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Tyson misses with a kick to the body.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tyson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Roaig has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Roaig and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Roaig misses with a looping right.
Tyson attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.

Tyson moves away from the strike by Roaig.
A punch lands to the side of Tyson 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Tyson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Tyson tries a head kick but it misses.
Tyson is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Roaig.
Roaig misses with a left hand
and Tyson counters with an outside leg kick.
Roaig scores with a crisp jab that stopped Tyson in his tracks.
Roaig scores with a kick to the body.
Roaig dips to his left and cracks Tyson with an uppercut!

Tyson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Tyson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Roaig feints a jab and as Tyson dips his head, Roaig unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Tyson right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Tyson falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Roaig smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Laph Roaig!
A relieved looking Laph Roaig thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
