Axelsson has chosen Petter - Det går bra nu as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Cooter looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Cooter moves into the clinch.

Come on Axelsson - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Cooter tries a body shot but Axelsson blocks it.
Axelsson avoids a wild elbow strike from Cooter.
Cooter on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Cooter misses with an elbow strike.
Axelsson gets underhooks to prevent Cooter's takedown attempt.
Cooter creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Cooter lands a shot to the body.
Axelsson dodges an elbow strike from Cooter.
Cooter throws a punch but it's blocked by Axelsson.
Axelsson takes an elbow to the temple.

Axelsson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A looping hook to the body misses from Axelsson. Cooter does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cooter fails with a takedown attempt.

Cooter thumps Axelsson with a low kick.
Cooter shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Cooter shoots for a takedown but Axelsson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Randal Cooter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Axelsson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cooter's waist but Cooter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Axelsson off to one side.

and Axelsson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Axelsson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Cooter's guard.
Cooter tries to get to full guard but Axelsson has control of the leg.
Axelsson thows a huge punch but Cooter dodges it nicely.
Axelsson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Axelsson wants to take a breather but Cooter is having none of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Axelsson passes the guard and advances to mount!
Axelsson wants to control the pace but Cooter is squirming around nicely.
Axelsson throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Axelsson wants to control the action but instead Cooter gets a body lock and reverses into Axelsson's guard! Nice work!

Axelsson has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Cooter doesn't defend quickly enough and Axelsson has managed to lock this one up! Can Cooter escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Axelsson on a fantastic submission victory.
