Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Golota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Golota kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Here to Stay . Kowalski has chosen Reptile Theme as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Golota throws a hook but Kowalski avoids it easily.

Kowalski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Golota swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kowalski drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kowalski jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kowalski accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kowalski moves into range and connects with a jab.
Kowalski connects with a combination that backs up Golota into the cage. Kowalski lands a flurry of punches that gets past Golota's guard. Golota is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Kowalski bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.

After the fight, Roman Kowalski was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
