Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mini Me (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raphael Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Me.
Me is looking to clinch but Jones is avoiding it.
Jones closes the distance but Me moves to the side
and Me counters with a one-two to the body.
Me drops Jones with a nice combination! Me dives into Jones's guard, looking to finish!

Me knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.
Me controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Jones has a closed guard, preventing Me from standing up.

Me trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Jones has his foot on Me's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Me works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Jones keeps control of Me as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Me clinches up with Jones and pushes him back against the ropes.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Me darts in and clinches Jones up against the ropes.

With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Jones just misses with a elbow thrown towards Me's brow.
Me lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Jones.

The cut man is working on Raphael Jones's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Jones takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Me wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance.
Me tries a head kick but it misses.
Me tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jones darts in trying to clinch
and Me counters with a one-two to the body.
Me fails to land with a series of punches.
Jones takes one to the chin there.
Me tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance.
Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Me rushes Jones and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Me prevents Jones from breaking the clinch.

Me wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Jones misses with a hook to the ribs.

and Me counters with a left and a right that stings Jones.

Me walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Jones checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Me checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Me, as that shot connected.
Jones dodges the punch combination from Me.
Mini Me is winning the standup battle so far.
Jones misses with an uppercut. Me saw that one coming.
Me catches Jones with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Me circles away from the clinch attempt

and Me decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Jones's guard.

Me wants to get up but he can't break Jones's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
