Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnnie Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rick Rude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rude circles away from the clinch attempt.
Rude misses with a double jab.

Rude throws a left that rocks Walker and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Rude dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Walker regain composure!

Walker is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Rude is trying to ground and pound but Walker uses the momentary lack of control by Rude to regain half guard.
Oh Walker is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rude is pressing down on Walker's thigh, looking to free his foot. Walker is holding on for now.
Walker is trying to stand back up but Rude is controlling him
Walker seems to have got his legs back now.
Rude throwing shots but Walker is blocking nicely.
Rude thows a huge punch but Walker dodges it nicely.
Rude throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Walker to regain full guard.
Rude trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rude accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Rude trying to move into half guard but instead Walker has managed to sweep!
Walker won't allow Rude to sweep him here.
Rude looking to control.
Rude looking to hit a scissor sweep but Walker is one step ahead there.
Walker wants to stand but Rude has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Rude controls Walker momentarily but Walker frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Rick Rude wasn't active enough on the ground.
Rude throws the left hand but Walker avoids the punch easily.
Rude keeps the fight on the outside.
Walker fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rude throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Walker fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rude throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Walker.
Walker doesn't manage to clinch there - Rude circles away.
Walker tries to close the distance and clinch but Rude swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rude rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Walker moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rude misses with a double jab.
Walker showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rude.
Rude scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Walker doesn't seem bothered though.

Rude throws a right and a left that Walker avoids nicely.
Walker tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Rude throws a one two combo.
Rude misses with a jab, cross combination.
Rude gets in close and tags Walker with a short punch that almost sends Walker to the mat! Oh Walker is in big trouble! He turns his back on Rude, trying to create some distance but Rude rushes him, striking wildly and Walker goes down! The referee tackles Rude into the cage to end the fight! Rude is one violent man!
