The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fronutu tries to clinch
and Penn counters with a slapping leg kick.
Penn avoids a punch combination nicely.
Penn wants to clinch up but Fronutu keeps it at a distance.
Fronutu throws a body punch but Penn moves out of range.
Fronutu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Penn swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Fronutu looks for a takedown but Penn sprawls well.
Penn moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Penn.
Fronutu wants to clinch but Penn slips to the side
and Penn counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Penn scores with a head kick.
Fronutu is rocked!
Penn throws a nice outside leg kick.
Fronutu is still on wobbly legs! Can Penn finish him?
Penn lands a nice leg kick that just misses Fronutu's sensitive parts.
Fronutu looks winded!
Fronutu takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Penn throws a quick head kick that knocks Fronutu silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Penn is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Steel Penn!
Steel Penn decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
