Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mic Hael (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dutch Chronic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hael's entrance music is Thriller by Micheal Jackson. A fine choice. Chronic has chosen Crank That as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hael misses with a takedown
and Chronic counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hael connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

It looks like Dutch Chronic has been cut.
Hael misses with a low kick.
Chronic defending well as Hael loads up on a big left hand.
Hael throws a head kick that Chronic semi-blocks.
Hael scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Chronic moves out of range as Hael strikes.

Hael gets a clinch.

Chronic tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hael avoids it.
Hael is pressed up against the cage. Chronic has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hael down to the mat. Hael avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

and Hael counters with a good low kick that Chronic was not able to check.

Chronic throws a head kick but Hael moves out of range.

Chronic closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Chronic tries to pull guard but Hael holds him up against the cage and eventually Chronic drops back down to his feet.

Hael breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Nice shot lands for Hael.

Hael misses with a low kick as Chronic jumps back.
Chronic throws a sloppy head kick and Hael moves out of range easily.

Hael ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Hael looks to score with a jab to the body but Chronic is just out of range.
Hael takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chronic wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Chronic moves to clinch but Hael breaks away

and Hael counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Hael wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chronic keeps working.
Hael will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Chronic won't allow Hael to pass to mount.

Hael wants to free his trapped foot but Chronic is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Chronic is staying active underneath Hael, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Hael wants to pass the guard but Chronic is keeping the position.

Hael got a little sloppy there for a moment and Chronic has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hael has managed to get both his arms back between Chronic 's legs - danger averted.

Hael stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chronic swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Chronic wants to sweep here but Hael controlling him for the moment.

Chronic is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Hael rolls with it to try and escape but Chronic cranks on the arm and Hael is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
