The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hackenburg throws a quick inside leg kick.
Hackenburg throws a low kick but Pigeon moves out of range easily.
Hackenburg throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Hackenburg ducks under a wild hook from Pigeon.

Hackenburg uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pigeon.
Pigeon throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Harry Pigeon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hackenburg finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Hackenburg moves into the clinch successfully.
A frustrated look appears on Pigeon's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Pigeon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Pigeon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hackenburg feints and then cracks Pigeon's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pigeon down.
Pigeon throws a lazy right hand but Hackenburg sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pigeon just misses with a punch to the body.
Pigeon lands a lovely overhand right.

Hackenburg gets the takedown into side control.
Pigeon tries to buck Hackenburg off but Hackenburg is having none of it.
Pigeon is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Pigeon prevents Hackenburg from moving into mount.
Hackenburg trying to control the action but Pigeon is working from the bottom.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hackenburg postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Pigeon looks a forlorn figure.

Hackenburg lands a couple of good shots and Pigeon has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Hackenburg cracks Pigeon with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Pigeon from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Hackenburg has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hackenburg lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Pigeon.

Pigeon is rocked!
Hackenburg drops a couple of huge strikes from the back position and Pigeon is in real trouble here! Hackenburg lands more strikes and the referee has to step in to end the fight! Hackenburg is delighted!
