Pigeon comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hank Williams Jr. - Country Boy Can Survive kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Hackenburg feints and then cracks Pigeon's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pigeon down.
Pigeon throws a lazy right hand but Hackenburg sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Pigeon tries to buck Hackenburg off but Hackenburg is having none of it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hackenburg has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Hackenburg lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Pigeon.
Pigeon is rocked!
Hackenburg drops a couple of huge strikes from the back position and Pigeon is in real trouble here! Hackenburg lands more strikes and the referee has to step in to end the fight! Hackenburg is delighted!
