The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hauki takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Hauki looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Slice shoots and misses

and Hauki counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Slice's guard now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Hauki tries to stand but Slice is controlling from the bottom.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hauki feints and as Slice raises his hands in defense, Hauki changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Slice wants to control but Hauki is keeping busy.

Hauki passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Slice!

Hauki is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Slice is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Slice flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Hauki anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Slice and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Hauki slips an arm under Slice chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Hauki has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Hauki is squeezing on Slice like an anaconda would it's prey. Slice fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
