Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jorma Hauki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leather Slammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leather Slammer is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hauki throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Slammer.

Slammer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hauki's guard.
Slammer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hauki swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Slammer wants to control from the top but Hauki keeps moving.
Slammer passes into half guard.
Slammer working over Hauki with some ground and pound. Hauki looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Hauki wants to get back to full guard.
Slammer works his way into full mount!
Hauki knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Slammer on the ground.

Slammer is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hauki can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hauki really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Slammer pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Hauki is breathing heavily.
Hauki taking shots to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Slammer lands a big shot there that rocks Hauki but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Slammer throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Hauki has his hands clasped together but Slammer breaks the hold and Hauki is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Slammer!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Leather Slammer!
In his post fight interview, Leather Slammer started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
