Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ross Swann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fletcher Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swann kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Clash - I Fought the Law. Franklin has chosen Erasure - Always as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franklin gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Swann has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
No joy there for Swann, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Franklin closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Swann quickly recovers to half guard.
Franklin wants to free his trapped foot but Swann is holding on for dear life with his legs.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Franklin working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

After winning the bout, Fletcher Franklin thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
