Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ole Solseng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stevie Hinch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Solseng comes into the arena with Iron Horse - Hero of the Day blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hinch has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hinch and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Hinch shoots in for a takedown but Solseng shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Hinch shoots in looking for a takedown. Solseng tries to sprawl out of it but Hinch keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Solseng manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hinch takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Hinch takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Hinch shoots in looking for a takedown but Solseng manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hinch's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hinch crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Solseng - the referee stops the clock and Hinch gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Solseng. Hinch manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Solseng lands a brutal uppercut that launches Hinch off his feet! Hinch tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
