Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elias Eberhard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Berkowitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elias Eberhard is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Elias Eberhard!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, David Berkowitz!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Berkowitz throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Eberhard fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Eberhard throws a hook but Berkowitz blocks it.
David Berkowitz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Eberhard moves out of range of the body kick from Berkowitz.
Eberhard slips a straight right by Berkowitz.
A looping hook to the body misses from Eberhard. Berkowitz does a little dance to reset his feet.
Berkowitz scores with a jab to the jaw.
Berkowitz tries to score with a low kick but Eberhard moves his leg out of the way.

and Eberhard counters with a nice double leg into side control. Berkowitz won't be happy with that.
Berkowitz on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
The strikes coming from Eberhard are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Berkowitz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Eberhard doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Eberhard manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Berkowitz tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Berkowitz has his foot on Eberhard's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Eberhard works his way back into a safe position though.
Eberhard lands a couple of decent looking shots.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Eberhard is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Berkowitz is looking to stand up but Eberhard isn't so interested in that idea.

Berkowitz seems keen to control Eberhard's posture.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Berkowitz stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Berkowitz wants it to stay on the feet.
Berkowitz displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Eberhard.

Eberhard dives in and grabs Berkowitz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Berkowitz pushes down on Eberhard's head and hops out.

Berkowitz lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Eberhard backs up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Eberhard shoots in for a takedown but Berkowitz shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Berkowitz throws a solid leg kick but Eberhard takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Berkowitz.
Berkowitz tries to clinch but Eberhard moves out of range.

David Berkowitz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Eberhard looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Eberhard misses with a body shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Berkowitz thumps Eberhard with a low kick.
Berkowitz walks into a jab.
Eberhard pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Berkowitz closes the distance and clinches.

Berkowitz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Berkowitz misses with a leg kick.
David Berkowitz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
No luck for Eberhard with that takedown attempt.
Eberhard checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Eberhard avoids the head kick by Berkowitz.
Eberhard digs a good body shot into Berkowitz's ribs.
Berkowitz misses with a series of wild punches.

and Eberhard counters with a shoot takedown. Berkowitz fights it but they end up in guard.

Eberhard throws a strike but Berkowitz rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Eberhard has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Berkowitz would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Eberhard looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Berkowitz with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Eberhard seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Berkowitz does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Eberhard is nestled in close to Berkowitz, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Berkowitz is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Eberhard scores with a couple of nice shots.

Eberhard winds up and cracks Berkowitz with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Berkowitz wants to improve his position but Eberhard is controlling well.
Eberhard throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Berkowitz to regain full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Eberhard is posturing up here but Berkowitz has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Eberhard tries to roll out but it's too tight and Eberhard has to tap! Slick submission there by Berkowitz!

David Berkowitz very nearly forgot to thank Tab out amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
