Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Taylor West (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Monteban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). West kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Enter Sandman. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monteban misses with a right hand
and West counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Monteban throws a looping overhand right but West ducks down to avoid it.
Monteban looks to throw the jab but West is out of range.
A swing and a miss from Monteban.
West tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Monteban manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Monteban.

enabling West to counter with a crisp jab.

West gets a clinch.
Monteban has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

West's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

West is trying desperately to improve position.

Monteban is working for a guillotine from mount but West frees his head quite easily.
West knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Monteban on the ground.
West tries to lock up and control but Monteban gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Monteban wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.
