The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivera tries to clinch up.
Rivera chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lindquist can pounce on him.

Lindquist lands a left and a right that send Rivera crashing to the mat, dazed. Lindquist thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Rivera is rocked!

It looks like Mountain Rivera has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rivera has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lindquist.
Rivera is still on wobbly legs! Can Lindquist finish him?
Rivera looks winded!
Lindquist changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Rivera is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Lindquist doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Rivera crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Rivera's bad books for that mishap!
