Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Texas Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goran Schwarzeneg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Texas Rex!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 46 - 1, fighting out of London, Goran Schwarzeneg!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rex fails to land the takedown.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Schwarzeneg sitting in guard, not really doing much.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Goran Schwarzeneg hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Rex tries to break the clinch but Schwarzeneg is controlling the position.

Schwarzeneg lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Rex's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Rex lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Schwarzeneg circles away quickly and effectively.

Well Schwarzeneg has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
