Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Beelzebub Abaddon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hans Gruber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Beelzebub Abaddon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Hans Gruber!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Gruber. Abaddon does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gruber walks into a jab.
Gruber throws a jab when Abaddon was well out of range.
Some wild striking there from Gruber.
Abaddon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Gruber closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Abaddon's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Abaddon working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Gruber.
Gruber controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Gruber drops back looking for a leg! Abaddon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Abaddon manages to kick Gruber off! Gruber jumps back into Abaddon's guard.
Gruber stays in close to Abaddon's body and controls the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gruber chips away with some ground and pound.

Gruber thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Gruber sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gruber forces his way into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Abaddon wants to improve his position but Gruber is controlling well.
Gruber lands with a punch from half guard.
Abaddon has his hands clasped together around Gruber's back. He's all about the action.
Gruber throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Gruber seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gruber prevents Abaddon from improving his position.
Abaddon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gruber on the ground.
Gruber is looking to take a break and control but Abaddon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Gruber is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Gruber wants to free his trapped foot but Abaddon is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Gruber thows a huge punch but Abaddon dodges it nicely.
Gruber is looking to take a break and control but Abaddon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Gruber throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Gruber thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Gruber is working for a kimura but Abaddon is defending it quite comfortably.
Gruber is controlling the pace.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Gruber is keen to just control but Abaddon is a slippery customer.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hans Gruber dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Gruber throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Gruber misses with a hook.
Gruber slips a straight right by Abaddon.
Gruber swings widly with a right hand
and Abaddon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Abaddon tries to close the distance and clinch but Gruber swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Abaddon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice takedown defense from Abaddon. No joy for Gruber on that attempt.

Abaddon closes the distance and pushes Gruber back into the cage.
Gruber jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Abaddon walks away with a smile on his face. Gruber gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Abaddon doesn't manage to clinch there - Gruber circles away.
Abaddon connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Gruber tumbling to the canvas! Abaddon pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Gruber was done - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Beelzebub Abaddon!
