The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riggs throws a jab but it's blocked by Nakara.
Some bone on bone action there as Nakara checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Riggs scores with a nice hook to the head.
Nakara wants a takedown.
Riggs lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Riggs is pressed up against the cage. Nakara has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Riggs down to the mat. Riggs avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Riggs is on top in guard.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Riggs cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Riggs postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Nakara in real trouble here! The ref calls for Nakara to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
