Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas with a lazy takedown attempt
enabling Huggins to counter with a crisp jab.
Thomas will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Thomas closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Thomas shoots in for a takedown but Huggins shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Huggins clinches up with Thomas and pushes him back against the cage.

Huggins lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Thomas backwards.

Thomas blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Huggins tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Thomas jumps guard but Huggins stands there with Thomas around his waist. Thomas gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Huggins gets through Thomas's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Thomas is rocked!

Huggins drops Thomas onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Thomas is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Oh Thomas is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Huggins dips a shoulder and cracks Thomas with a mighty uppercut! Thomas falls back against the cage and Huggins unloads with a barrage of strikes! Thomas is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Huggins screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
