Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Declan Duddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slim Jim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jim comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Any kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duddy misses with a few strikes there.
Duddy tries to bum rush Jim with a series of wild strikes but Jim uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Duddy throws a right hand that misses
and Jim counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Duddy throws a hook to the side of Jim's head but Jim sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jim tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Duddy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nice defenses there by Jim.
Jim fails with an attempt to clinch.
Jim moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Duddy works the jab nicely.
Duddy takes a swing at Jim's ribcage but misses.
Duddy misses with a body shot.

Duddy lands a high kick to the side of Jim's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Duddy dives into guard, looking to finish.

Jim is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Duddy wants to stand but Jim is controlling his posture from full guard.
Jim is still in real trouble! Can Duddy finish him?
Jim seems to have recovered his senses.

Declan Duddy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Duddy swings for the body but Jim moves out of range.
Duddy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Duddy smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Duddy lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Duddy throws a hook but Jim blocks it.
Duddy throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Duddy swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Duddy jabs Jim right on the nose. Jim blinks but takes it well.
Duddy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Duddy cracks a nice hook into Jim's ribs.

Jim takes a jab right on the kisser.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jim looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Duddy throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Jim counters with a lovely straight right hand!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Duddy lands with a hook. Jim tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Duddy digs a good body shot into Jim's ribs.
Duddy misses with a series of wild punches.
Duddy scores with the left hand. Jim knows he should have avoided that one.
Duddy drops Jim with a big left hand! Jim is injured, injured bad! Duddy jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
