The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velilkov wants to clinch up but Brock keeps it at a distance.

Brock closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Brock tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Velilkov taking punishment in the form of punches.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Velilkov explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Brock shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Brock showed some decent athleticism there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Velilkov wants to improve his position but Brock is controlling well.
Brock not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Velilkov won't allow Brock to pass to mount.
Velilkov pushes Brock off looking to stand but Brock dives back in and keeps control.

Brock with the ground and pound but Velilkov uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Brock throws a big right hand that misses.

Brock drops back looking for a leg! Velilkov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Velilkov manages to kick Brock off! Brock jumps back into Velilkov's guard.
Brock has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Brock tries to free his leg and advance position but Velilkov is retaining full guard.
Brock trying to move into half guard but instead Velilkov has managed to sweep!

Brock is looking for a triangle but Velilkov pushes his legs off easily.
Velilkov working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Brock has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Velilkov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Brock has his feet on Velilkov's thighs here. He's pushed Velilkov off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Velilkov screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
