Snake comes to the cage accompanied by The Buffoon & The Dean Of Admissions. Jake Snake had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jake Snake!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Scott Norton!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snake displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Norton throws out the jab.
Norton staying out of range there.
Snake throws a head kick but Norton moves out of range.
Norton misses with a looping right.
Scott Norton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Norton lands with a hook. Snake tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Norton throws a hook but Snake avoids it easily.
A punch lands to the side of Snake 's head but he takes it in his stride.


It looks like Jake Snake has been cut.
Norton throws a lazy right hand but Snake sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Norton throws the left hand but Snake avoids the punch easily.
Norton throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Norton steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Snake.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Snake takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Norton throws a shot from downtown. Snake moves away and avoids it.
Snake needs to keep his hands up - Norton had a free shot at his head there.
Norton throws a hook to the side of Snake's head but Snake sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A big right from Snake misses.
Norton connects with a nice looking jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Norton misses with a wild body shot.
Norton cracks a nice hook into Snake's ribs.
Snake darts in and out, connecting with a jab.


It looks like Scott Norton has been cut.

Norton connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Norton ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Snake moves away.
Norton punishes Snake's body with a nice straight punch.
Snake blocks a jab.
Norton lands an overhand right.


Jake Snake's cut is getting worse.
Norton swings for the body but Snake moves out of range.
Snake throws a sloppy head kick and Norton moves out of range easily.
Norton throws a lazy right hand but Snake sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Norton misses with a looping left.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Snake throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Norton.
Snake throws a jab when Norton was well out of range.
Norton throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Snake counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Snake.
Norton wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Norton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Snake trying to control the position from guard on top but Norton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Scott Norton has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Snake lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Norton circles away quickly and effectively.
Norton looks to land a right hand but Snake moved out of range.
Norton uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Snake.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Scott Norton dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Norton lands with a right and another and another! Snake is in big trouble! Norton lands again and this time it's lights out for Snake! A quality knockout there for Norton.
