Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jake Lamotta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Grossman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lamotta comes to the cage accompanied by yes. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, William Gold and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lamotta avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lamotta displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Grossman throws out the jab.
Lamotta ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Lamotta cracks Grossman with a good jab.
Grossman throws a combination that misses
and Lamotta counters with a nice double leg into side control. Grossman won't be happy with that.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Lamotta works to advance to full mount. Grossman defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Grossman wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Lamotta.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lamotta lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Grossman hang on?
Lamotta can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Grossman is looking to escape.
Lamotta lands a couple of good shots and Grossman has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lamotta looking to break Grossman's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Grossman remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Lamotta will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
What can Grossman do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Lamotta is cranking Grossman's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Grossman! He's tightened the choke and Grossman is tapping out!
