Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Stack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Williams might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ringfinger. Jackson Williams has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jackson Williams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Stack!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stack uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Williams.
Williams throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Williams throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Stack throws a wild body kick that Williams sees coming a mile off.
Williams throws a jab but it's blocked by Stack.
Williams connects with the punch.
Stack lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Williams misses with a kick to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Stack.
Stack on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Stack shoots for a double leg takedown but Williams sprawls well. He's pushed Stack's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Stack throws a right hand that Williams ducks under and follows up with a left that Williams also avoids with ease.

and Williams counters with a single leg into guard. Stack didn't expect that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Williams wants to pass the guard but Stack is keeping the position.
Williams is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Stack working for a triangle but Williams defends it easily.
Stack keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully.
Williams is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Stack has his foot on Williams's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Williams works his way back into a safe position though.
Williams with a flurry of punches that miss.
Williams slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Williams gets to mount! Stack was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Jim Stack has been cut.
Williams has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Stack is rocked!

Williams has hold of Stack's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Stack manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Stack is still in real trouble! Can Williams finish him?

Williams is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Williams!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Jackson Williams!
After winning the bout, Jackson Williams thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
