PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Igor Crazy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted Lange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Crazy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Mienteme. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Crazy.
Crazy fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lange has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Lange has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Crazy.
Lange uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Crazy.
A solid leg kick lands there for Crazy.
Lange keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A big right from Crazy misses.
Crazy chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Crazy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Crazy listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

Crazy with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Lange tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Crazy's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lange under the eye.

Crazy lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Lange sprawling to the canvas. Crazy follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Lange hang on?

Lange is rocked!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Crazy is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Lange is still in real trouble! Can Crazy finish him?

Lange seems to have recovered his senses.
Crazy is nestled in close to Lange, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Crazy controlling the pace.
Crazy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lange for as long as he can get away with.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Igor Crazy just wasn't active enough.
Crazy lands a leg kick that knocks Lange off balance momentarily.

Crazy uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Lange.
Crazy turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Lange looks winded!
Crazy wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Lange stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Crazy.

Crazy feints and then cracks Lange's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lange down.
Crazy throws a shot to the body.

Crazy feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Langes jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Crazy catches Lange napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Lange to the canvas!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Crazy seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Crazy has hold of Lange's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Lange seems comfortable defending it but Crazy has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Lange is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Lange is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Crazy couldn't care less - he's delighted!
