Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Akira Ishikawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slipo Sliper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ishikawa comes into the arena with mindshift genki sudo blaring out of the sound system. Slipo Sliper will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ishikawa enables Sliper to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ishikawa manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Sliper trying to control but Ishikawa is working from the bottom.
Ishikawa is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sliper is controlling him.

and Ishikawa counters with a head kick. That will keep Sliper thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Ishikawa closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sliper to the mat! Sliper manages to get full guard.
Ishikawa is working Sliper over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Sliper is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ishikawa is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ishikawa wants to pass the guard but Sliper is keeping the position.
