Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Connor Ratonhnhake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocco Ricotta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ricotta misses with a takedown

and Ratonhnhake moves into the clinch.

Ratonhnhake works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Ratonhnhake seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Ricotta is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Ratonhnhake is working Ricotta over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Ratonhnhake stays in close to Ricotta's body and controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ratonhnhake's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Ratonhnhake has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ricotta is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Ratonhnhake is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Ratonhnhake is landing with some decent strikes but Ricotta is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
