The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smithson keeps the fight on the outside.
Jones throws a head kick but Smithson moves out of range.
Jones is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Jones attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Jones throws a right and a left that Smithson avoids nicely.
Jones misses with a body shot.
Jones scores with the left hand. Smithson knows he should have avoided that one.
Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jones tries to clinch up.
No joy there for Jones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jones really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jones is trying to break the clinch but Smithson is controlling him.
Jones drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Smithson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
