Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Shields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lorgar Grimnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lorgar Grimnar will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Grimnar does no damage.
Grimnar shoots for a takedown but Shields saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Grimnar feints a jab promting Shields to slip. Grimnar then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Shields slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Shields is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Grimnar is defending well.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Shields enables Grimnar to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Shields manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Grimnar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
