The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moreira sizes up AtlaSon with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
AtlaSon pivots, looking for a leg kick but Moreira is out of range and AtlaSon settles back down.
Moreira throws a hook but AtlaSon avoids it easily.
Moreira lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
AtlaSon throws the left hand but Moreira avoids the punch easily.
Moreira has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from AtlaSon.
Moreira has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
AtlaSon avoids a punch combination nicely.
Moreira feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to AtlaSon's calf.
AtlaSon takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

AtlaSon digs a right hand into Moreira's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Moreira's gas tank.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

AtlaSon takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Theo AtlaSon will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

AtlaSon connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Moreira momentarily.
Moreira walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

AtlaSon steps in with a hook that catches Moreira right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! AtlaSon follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Moreira looks absolutely devastated.
